O7IM 2BA22 - New Challenges in International Trade

The course addresses the major current issues surrounding trade globalization. The objective is to provide students with the main tools used in international trade analysis, enabling them to analyze debates on issues related to the international integration of economies. The application to contemporary issues will introduce the main theories of international trade and multinational companies. The course will address economic policy topics such as the return of protectionisme, deglobalization, climate and geopolitical issues in international trade, the strategies of multinational companies, and the challenges of their taxation.
