KCOS 2145A - Supply Chain Strategy

This supply chain strategy course aims to introduce the subject of supply chain management. The supply chain's main goal is to build an optimized flow from the suppliers to the retailers to fulfill a customer request. To achieve this goal, the supply chain is connected to all the stakeholders within a company. Thus, the supply chain synchronizes processes, resources and assets with the demand and the strategic planning's vision to create added value. Overcoming the archetypes this introduction to supply chain strategy will be of great interest to all students whether they plan to work in goods&services producing companies or not. Indeed, all businesses need a supply chain. This course will aim to deliver a wide overview of all the challenges a modern supply chain needs to address: forecasting, budget, Sales & Operations planning, crisis management, logistics network construction, corporate social & environmental responsibility, industrial planning, stock management and customer care.
