Espace mondial - Thinking IR globally allows students to acquire a critical view of the omnipresent global challenges that are often neglected or simplified in public debate. It will draw on a rich range of examples to understand the profound interdependence of international social, environmental, economic and security subjects, while fully integrating International Relations in the education of the Collège universitaire at Sciences Po. Among the key topics are: conflicts and security, global inequalities, environmental issues, and the “return of the sacred.” This course will draw on perspectives from sociology, political theory and economy, human geography, and comparative and world history.
