And through an introduction to various communication methods and tools, improvisation games and the exploration of these themes in situ we will also learn more about ourselves in a fun and safe environment. We will, learn think out of the box about public speaking applied to politics. Each class will have two tempos : the first hour will mostly be dedicated to warm ups, vocal and physical techniques and the explorations of these tools. We will work on improving our body language and stretch our vocal capacities. We will also watch and analyse political speeches over time and various contexts. During the second hour we will focus on improvisations, practical exercises and text work. The semester will be structured around the creation of a utopia or a dystopia that will eventually include different speech exercises from public speech to conference talks or diplomatic negociations and lobbying exercise.
