BART 97A69 - The powers of juggling, at the crossing of mathematics, politics, sports and arts

The Powers of Juggling : at the crossing of mathematics, politics, sports and art Juggling is something most people don't do ; learning how to juggle is taking a special power for yourself : a power over objects, over yourself, over people's attention. Juggling is a great laboratory to experiment with physical, mental and social skills, before porting them on stage or just to other everyday situations. Juggling is also an interesting mirror of human organizations throughout ages and continents. Objectifs pédagogiques / Academic expectations - learn to juggle with 3 balls and develop an artistic vocabulary ; but most importantly learn how to analyze problems, organize progressivity, develop awareness of body and mind operation as a whole. - develop a culture about juggling, including connections to other disciplines such as mathematics, physiology, history, theater etc.
