This course provides students with a broad introduction to AI. Students will be equipped with a foundational understanding of the history of AI, what AI and Gen AI are, what it is not, and why it matters. We will cover: - Introduction to AI - Introduction to AI Technologies - Deep dive into Generative AI - AI capabilities - Proven concepts for scaling AI - The business Value of AI - Trustworthy AI and Human-centric AI - AI opportunities, use cases, and limitations - AI regulations, policies and frameworks - Deep dive into data and data processing - AI Landscape and AI Powers - How to succeed an AI Project - Career opportunities in AI

News briefing : for each session students need to look at the headlines of the past week and present briefly the news of their choice (10-15 mins) Mandatory assignments: 1-2 hours / week Bonus assignments: 1-2 hours / week

Students will get mini case studies as assignments to work on in groups or individually for each chapter based on real examples of AI, and they need to return them by a fixed deadline announced at the enrollment. There will be discussion points as bonus during the class about the session's topic. There will be a quiz on the last session to assess the general knowledge of the participants about the course. There will be a final assignment to return two weeks after the end of the course.
