KDEC 9730 - Combatting corruption: global challenges and practical tools for companies
Compliance has become a key ethical and political challenge that businesses must effectively address. The expectations in this area both from regulators and stakeholders (employees, clients, investors…) have been increasing: fight against corruption, protection of whistleblowers, prevention of human rights and environmental violations, etc. The objective of this class is to understand these challenges with the various cultural approaches and to be trained to concretely implement a compliance program. Guests from relevant authorities (French Anticorruption Agency – AFA -, Financial Prosecutor's Office – PNF-…) and experts will share their concrete experience with the students in some of the classes. Students will be able to interact in English but a good level of understanding French is required (in particular when French authorities will attend).
