OADS 3015 - Navigating Redfern Schedules : Production of documents in international arbitration
Students will be given the opportunity to explore, from a practical point of view, the document production phase in the context of an international arbitration, including a discussion as to when this phase should take place, how it is conducted, the use of Redfern Schedule, the relevant rules and guidelines, the possible grounds to request documents and defenses, possible adverse inferences, confidentiality issues, practical matters, etc.
The students will also be given a practical case which addresses different issues that may arise in the document production phase. The candidates will be given the tools to be able to complete a Redfern Schedule from the counsel perspective in three teams (requesting party, defending party, tribunal).
