1 in 10 people in the world live on less that 1,9 USD a day. The fight against poverty has become a common goal in most public policies, at a local, national and international level. But behind a general agreement on the necessity to eradicate poverty, lie important ideological debates on the practical ways to reach that goal. What are the most effective ways to relieve people from poverty? What are the value judgement behind development policies?
After a general introduction, the sessions will focus on local initiatives and case studies presented by professionals.
