OAFP 5430 - Campaign Strategy: How to win an election?
This course is intended for students who hope to run for an election or work on an electoral campaign, but also for those interested in electoral strategies and practices. The syllabus covers all aspects of a modern campaign and is structured around the 3 following dimensions of a campaign: campaign planning, candidate training and campaign strategy implementation.
The course presents recent developments in research on electoral strategies and studies practical cases, drawn from examples of campaigns in France and in the US. We will take a close look at innovations coming from the French and American presidential campaigns as well as their potential applications for the 2022 French elections.
